  • No experience needed! I guide new players step-by-step through the rules and have made basic character sheets that make playing D&D for the first time as immersive and fun as possible.

  • I come to you, offering in-person games in the Inner Melbourne, East Melbourne and South East Melbourne areas in your home, school, local gaming store or other location. Travel fees may apply outside my service area.

  • Studies on immersion and flow state show that peak immersion happens in 60-90 minute or less blocks of time. I have structured my sessions around this for maximum D&D immersion and enjoyment.

    My sessions range from short 1.5 hour mini sessions, to 3 hour oneshots/campaigns to up to 4.5 hour or longer campaign sessions.

  • Prices start at $210 for mini sessions, $295 for oneshots and discounts available for campaign sessions if paid in advance. Group size is maximum 5 or 6 if all players are experienced. NDIS-funded sessions are billed differently.

    For those solo/duo players on a budget keep an eye out for specials where certain sessions are run at up to 85% off and paid per person ($10-60) generally when playtesting a new oneshot idea.

About the dungeon master

I’m Danny, Founder and Dungeon Master of Immersive Dungeon Master. I’ve been DMing and playing dungeons and dragons 5e for over a decade any time I can. Dungeons and Dragons is oxygen to me and it’s the highlight of my day/week/month whenever I get to DM or play.

D&D can be a creative outlet, an escape into another world, a chance to bring known and unknown qualities out of you and a place where everyone is accepted and feels they belong in their own way. My background in youth work amplifies this as seeing everyone enjoy themselves is an amazing feeling for me. If there are conflicts between players I’m able to resolve them quickly and get back to having fun.

Immersive Dungeon Master’s mission is to raise the bar in quality and quantity for Dungeons and Dragons being delivered in Melbourne by creating complete immersion in the D&D experience. To do that I strive to create fun and memorable experiences for everyone at my table. This is achieved through a culture of acceptance and respect for everyone I come in contact with.

Service Area

Immersive Dungeon Master currently serves East, Southeast and most inner Melbourne suburbs.

Appointments are currently booked in a daytime/evening system.

Weekend appointments attract higher rates which are reflected in the scheduling.
